Cabinet Shop Microvellum Drafter

Custom Commercial architectural millwork and casework manufacturer is seeking a skilled 
Microvellum Engineer to join our team.  We are looking for a highly productive individual that is 
capable of managing multiple projects, while consistently meeting project schedules. 
 
The role is responsible for creating engineered products and detailed shop drawings for 
production based on architectural and design drawings. Products include store fixtures, millwork, 
and interiors for healthcare, hospitality, restaurants, banks, and offices. 
 
Strong AutoCAD experience necessary.  Microvellum software helpful or will train. 
 
Excellent opportunity to join a growing company!  Compensation will be based on experience.
 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Generate accurate and detailed shop drawings for production
  • Translate architectural drawings and design concepts into production ready models via Microvellum.
  • Collaborate with project management, purchasing, and production teams to ensure seamless workflow
  • Support project management and production through project completion

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (experience in Microvellum is a plus)
  • Strong understanding of casework, millwork and woodworking construction methods
  • Experience in commercial cabinetry
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently

Project Manager

A premier fabricator of custom architectural millwork and store fixtures is seeking 
a Project Manager for our Architectural Custom Casework and Commercial Fixture 
manufacturing facility. 
 
This position will be responsible for overseeing a Project from estimating costs 
through completion. As a representative of our company, they facilitate all 
communication with the client to ensure customer satisfaction while monitoring 
costs. 
 
Excellent opportunity to join a growing company!  Compensation will be based on experience.
 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide accurate material and labor costs from Architectural drawings
  • Work directly with the client to value engineer material and construction options
  • Communicate with Clients to obtain Project requirements
  • Field verify all measurements
  • Make Field templates when necessary
  • Communicate all details of the Project to Engineering and Production
  • Review Shop drawings
  • Provide Submittals and Finish Samples to Client
  • Manage the Project Schedule to ensure all dates are met
  • Oversee product quality
  • Manage Installation Subcontractors when required
  • Complete all necessary forms and paperwork for billing 

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read Blueprints
  • Knowledge of Architectural Millwork Materials and Hardware
  • Ability to schedule and oversee manufacturing quality

Drafter/AutoCAD

A premier fabricator of custom architectural millwork and store fixtures is seeking a drafter for our architectural custom casework and commercial fixture manufacturing facility.

The goal of the drafter is to prepare complete and accurate shop drawings for submittal based on architectural plans. Considerations include complete understanding of AutoCAD.  Ability to read Architectural Blue Prints.  Excellent communication skills.  Ability to work independently.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Drafting accurate and detailed shop drawings in AutoCAD
  • Review project and drawings with project manager and engineer prior to submittal
  • Revise and resubmit drawings per architectural revisions
  • Coordinate planned material and sizes with purchasing
  • Work closely with project Manager, engineer and shop personnel to ensure job runs smoothly through completion.
  • Knowing how to Draw 3D is a plus.

Millwork Engineer

A premier fabricator of custom architectural millwork and store fixtures is seeking an engineer for our architectural custom casework and commercial fixture manufacturing facility. The goal of the engineer is to accurately draw and detail shop drawings in order to communicate all architectural specifications and product to production staff.  Engineers work closely with project management and production to meet client expectations

Considerations include complete understanding of AutoCAD, familiarity of Microvellum is a plus.  Knowledge of construction methods in woodworking industry. Knowledge of all materials and properties of the materials as they pertain to production processes and product utilization.  Excellent communication skills.  Ability to work independently.

The Engineer is ultimately responsible for building quality into the product.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Follow architectural specifications
  • Provide and submit accurate shop drawings for approval
  • Revise shop drawings per architects revisions
  • Prepare work orders for production to include
    • Assembly drawings
    • Bill of material
    • Part labels
    • Product labels
    • Shop router
    • Cut list
    • Machine programming
      • Maintain Microvellum library
      • Provide material take offs and material request forms to purchasing
      • Quality control all assigned projects
      • Knowing how to Draw 3D is a plus

Solid Surface Fabricator

Custom commercial casework manufacturing company seeks experienced Solid Surface Fabricators for plant in Fairfield, OH. Ability to read blue prints is a plus. Excellent attendance required. Competitive salary and benefit package.
